Gunmen Attack Soludo, Kill Police Guards
Gunmen have reportedly attacked a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, killed three policemen among him guard.
According to report, this incident took place in his community, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State during a meeting with the community youth.
Eyewitnesses told reporters that Soludo was safe, but his whereabout was unknown. Unconfirmed report said that the Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, who was at the event was taken away by gunmen.
Police spokesperson in the state, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the incident but said further investigate is being done to get necessary information.
