Ile-epo market, Alimosho local government area in Lagos is unsafe for motorists, traders and pedestrians as Hausa men set police station ablaze on Monday, 24 May.

Sources claimed that an unidentified policeman attached to Ileepo police station allegedly shot an Hausa man, leading to a reprisal attack from other Hausa traders.

The angry Hausas were said to have burnt down Ileepo police station to retaliate the death of their colleague.

Efforts to reach the Divisional Police Officer of the station through phone call was unsuccessful as at the time of writing the report.
