FRSC Anambra Outline Punishment For Motorists Violating Traffic Rules

The Federal Road Safety Corp Sector Commander Anambra State CC Adeoye Irelewuyi, warned all motorists especially, Tricycles and commercial buses Operators in Awka and other Anambra towns to desist from violating traffic rules.

The observed traffic offences include Driving against Traffic, at the following locations; Amawbia junction, Amawbia bypass, Kwata junction, Aroma junction, others are indiscriminate use of Sirens, Overloading, and excessive speeding, which most times result to road traffic crash.

The Command has held series of meetings, Public enlightenment and trainings with relevant stakeholders to correct the aforementioned traffic violations.

The Sector Commander Anambra State CC Adeoye Irelewuyi, hereby warn all motorists especially to desist from the aforementioned violations as the command has commenced aggressive enforcement to arrest defaulters. Any such arrested defaulter will be made to bear the full weight of the law.

He further assured Ndi Anambra of the Commands commitment in ensuring a safer motoring environment in Anambra State, and will not tolerate any form of violation of traffic rules and regulations which usually leads to traffic crashes.

Road Safety is everyone’s responsibility, we should all work in synergy to ensure a better motoring environment in Anambra State he said.
