TNA Korodo foundation kicks off 8weeks empowerment in Lagos

In line with its commitment to promote a culture of inclusion and empowerment within its operations, TNA KORODO foundation commenced its empowerment program on 5th of June through July 24 and will take place at Golden Desire Schools located at Meiran, Alimosho LGA of Lagos State.
Participants for different courses embedded in the program such as Tailoring, tie and dye, hairdressing, shoemaking, catering, makeup, etc. 30 trainee per class, the number of courses is 9.
The CEO Korodo Group of Company; TNA Korodo Foundation,Comrade Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo who organized the event said, “I have organized similar event in the past which was restricted to Muslim community, each individual has his own calling; my calling is to impact on the life of Nigerians in my environment irrespective of your religion.
He further quote a Quran verse which goes thus: ” you are not a believer, except you love your neighbours the way you love yourself”
Comrade Tokunbo added that he hate people begging for money to survive, the poverty level in the society has turn a lot of people into beggar. He believe that after the training, participants can be self sufficient and they can create avenue for themselves to earn a meaningful source of living.
Also present is the Head of facilitators, Eagles Wing Couture, Mrs Adeniran Yetunde who implored participants to take the course as a lifetime opportunity which will create an avenue to achieve greatness in their career.
