NURTW boss, MC-Oluomo felicitates with retired drivers in Lagos

The Lagos State chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (Mc-Oluomo) has eulogized and appreciated retirees of Lagos State, Local Governments and LCDAs Driver’s Association for their sterling services and dedication during their active years in service.

Mc-Oluomo, who praised them at the send-forth and award ceremony of retirees of Lagos State, Local Governments and LCDAs Driver’s Association,  the umbrella body of drivers that are in the employment of Lagos State, local governments and LCDAs said, “Thank you for being a good ambassador of the union and thank you for not bringing disrepute to the union in their various stations.

Mc-Oluomo, who was accompanied by his deputy, Alh. Sulaimon Ojora, his Treasurer, Alh. Mustapha Seego, and others, however, urged the retirees not to believe all is over simply because they have retired from active and government service, he informed them that there are still many areas where their expertise will be needed and there are still many businesses they can legitimately venture into.

He, therefore, implored those still in service to continue to be of good behaviours and portray themselves as good ambassador of the NURTW.

The convergence for the send-forth and award ceremony of the association’s members included the retirees, those still in active service, guests, family members and other personalities at the Secretariat of Shomolu Local Government.

Other notable personalities at the event include the representative of the executive chairman of Shomolu Local Government, Hon. Abdulhameed Salawu, Mr Ayodele Samson, to mention but a few. Each of them felicitated with the retirees and those that were given awards for their services.
