FRSC Lagos Warns Motorists Against Speed; One Rescued at Kara Bridge End of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The Federal Road Safety Corps Lagos Sector Command rescue team rescued the driver of a Toyota car, Ash colour with registration number LND282FQ on Kara Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The incident occurred at around 0510hrs of Wednesday, 6 September 2023, after the command got a distress call. The team got to the scene of the crash within 6 minutes and the victim involved was taken to the Ojota Emergency Centre by the Nigerian Police while the obstruction was cleared by FRSC and Nigeria Police.
The Sector Commander Corps Commander Babatunde Farinloye hereby admonish motorists to drive carefully, especially during this rainy season.
He said that Motorists should avoid excessive speed as speed kills and ensure their wipers and lighting system are functioning.
He further reassured the motoring public of FRSC’s commitment to effective service delivery and a safe motoring environment.
