Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede Headlines Africa CEO Forum's Opening Panel on Shaping Africa's Economic Future

Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Chairman of Coronation Group, will be a distinguished speaker on the opening panel of the 2024 Africa CEO Forum. The panel, titled “At the Table or on the Menu? A Critical Moment to Shape a New Future for Africa,” aims to discuss strategic directions for Africa’s development.

The forum, regarded as the continent’s premier business summit, will feature prominent leaders such as His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, H.E. Dr William Ruto, President of Kenya, H.E. Filipe Jacinto, President of Mozambique, and Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the IFC. These leaders will address key issues shaping Africa’s economic landscape.

Kagame highlighted Africa’s growing influence, stating, “By 2050, Africa will be 25% of the world’s population. To become truly prosperous, we must upgrade our mindset and aim for quality in our value chains. Africa can become an economic engine if we focus on innovation and quality.”

Speaking on the panel, Aig-Imoukhuede remarked, “Africa is beginning to play a significant role in global organizations. We need to have our tables. With our population and youth demographic, the tables we command could become very influential. The youth table for the future of the world is Africa.”
