President Tinubu Makes New Appointment

According to a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Bello is a seasoned lawyer, administrator, and journalist with extensive experience in various fields.

Bello has previously served as the Secretary to the Lagos State Government and as the Commissioner for Environment in Lagos State.

He has held significant editorial positions at Concord Newspapers and THISDAY Newspapers, and is a recipient of the US Alfred Friendly Press Fellowship.

With a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy and a Law degree from the University of Lagos, Bello was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002.

President Tinubu expects Bello to fully realize the FCCPC’s mandate, focusing on protecting consumer interests, promoting welfare, and ensuring the safety and quality of goods and services in Nigeria.
