Minor Fire at Dangote Refinery Quickly Contained
The management of the Dangote refinery has confirmed a fire incident in the effluent treatment plant of the facility.
The spokesman of Dangote Industries Limited (DI), Anthony Chiejine describes it as a minor fire incident.
Our Correspondent reports that a fire broke out yesterday’s afternoon at a section of the refinery located near Lekki, Lagos.
Emergency services responded swiftly to contain the incident, and according to initial reports, no injuries have been sustained.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and investigations are underway to determine the extent of the damage and what led to the incident.
