Wike Okays Promotion For Over 1,000 FCDA Staff

The Executive Secretary of FCDA, Mr. Shehu Ahmad, announced the decision in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
The promotion, which affects officers on Grade Levels 7 to 15, is based on the results of a promotion exercise conducted in April 2024, covering the years 2022 and 2023.
In addition to the promotions, Wike has also approved an immediate review of the FCDA’s Conditions of Service and Operations Manual. The review aims to enhance the authority’s operational efficiency and align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
The approval was communicated by Mr. Emeka Ezeh, Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission. Ahmad noted that the FCDA is in the process of establishing the necessary measures to implement the review.
The FCDA management and staff expressed their deep gratitude to Minister Wike, highlighting that these actions will significantly boost staff morale and productivity.
