Lagos Govt Sets To Unveil Revenue Collection Portal
In its renewed effort to make Bills Payment seamless and increase its Internally Generated Revenue, the Lagos State Government through the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Taxation and Revenue is set to unveil a Self-service Revenue Payment Portal, ‘The Lagos Revenue Portal’.
This was announced by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on
Taxation and Revenue, Mr. Opeyemi Ogungbo during a Press Conference in Ikeja, the state capital.
According to Ogungbo, the initiative is inline with the Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda.
He stated further that the Unified Lagos Revenue Portal would offer convenient and secure service to individuals and Corporate Organizations in the State.
Other unique features of the Lagos Revenue Portal are efficient service, Instant Payment receipt generation, Amendment and Reversal.
“The Portal has a comprehensive view of payment history and receipts. Users can view and download their remittance statement which provides easy access to records”, Ogungbo emphasized.
It would support seamless integration with current and emerging technological advancement.
The Lagos Revenue Portal would be launched by Gov. Sanwo-Olu on Thursday 15 August, 2024.
