President Bola Tinubu resumed his official duties on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, following a two-week vacation in Europe. Upon his return, Tinubu dove straight into work, meeting with Zacch Adedeji, the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), in his office.

This meeting marked the president’s first official engagement since his return to the country, where he was received by senior administration members at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

During his vacation, Tinubu spent time in the United Kingdom and France, taking a well-deserved break after departing Nigeria on October 2.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced the president’s return and meeting with Adedeji via social media platform X.

It’s worth noting that Zacch Adedeji, the FIRS Chairman, brings a wealth of experience to his role, having served as a commissioner for finance in Oyo State and holding a certificate in comparative tax policy and administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
