The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, on Thursday led a team of top officials from the Ministry on an inspection tour of the ongoing Junction Improvement Projects at Toyin, Adebola, and Salvation Junctions along Opebi Road.

He was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olawale Musa; Director of Transport Engineering, Engr. Bolaji Bada; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Toyin Aremu; and other officials.

According to the project team, the Opebi corridor works have reached about 45 percent completion. The project, spearheaded by the Ministry of Transportation, aims to ease traffic flow from the Opebi Link Bridge through the Opebi axis, thereby reducing congestion and improving travel time for motorists.

The inspection team also visited Ikotun Junction, where preparatory works are ongoing for junction upgrades and the remodeling of adjoining inner roads to further enhance traffic flow and accessibility within the area.
