The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the easing of the curfew imposed on the state from 8 am to 6 pm.

According to the governor, citizens of the state is allowed to go out between 8 am and 6 pm from Saturday.

He said, “We have decided that we are going to be easing the curfew from tomorrow (Saturday) morning; and what that easing means is that people will be allowed to go out from 8 am to 6 pm.

“For emphasis, from 8 am tomorrow morning, you will be allowed to go out, to go wherever you wish till 6 pm in the evening.”

Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, October 23 revealed the list of indicted police officials accused of police brutality as well as the violation of human rights.

Sanwo-Olu made this disclosure via his Twitter handle, also stating that this disclosure is necessary, in order to engender public trust in the government.

“Good morning Lagos, today seems like a good day to get on to the work of rebuilding Lagos, as well as ending police brutality.

“To show our commitment to the latter, here is a list of ongoing prosecution of police officers for offences, related to the violation of human rights in Lagos,” the governor said.
