Out of the 446 awardees to be honored Twenty-Two (22) would be Honorary Fellows, One Hundred and Fifty-Four (154) would be Fellows, and Two Hundred and Seventy (270) would be Honorary Senior Members of the Institute.
According to a statement by the Head of Corporate Communication & Brand Management of the Institute, Mrs. Folake Akintayo, the honor is in recognition of the awardees’ meritorious services, commitment to professional responsibilities, and valuable contributions to the industry and the economy in general.
Prof. Joseph Nnanna (Jnr), Chief Economist, Development Bank of Nigeria Plc will deliver the keynote address titled: “Harnessing Nigeria’s Economic Potentials for Growth and Development: Strategic Imperatives:”
The event which will have His Excellency, Senator, Prince Bassey Otu, HCIB, Executive Governor, Cross River State and Dr. Alex Otti, FCIB, Executive Governor, Abia State as the Special Guests of Honour is expected to attract stakeholders in the industry including captains of industry, top government and diplomatic officials, financial decision makers, top management staff of banks, academics, professional institutions, senior members and including well- wishers
Mr. Abdul Samad Rabiu, CON, Founder, BUA Group will be the Chairman of the occasion while Ken Opara, Ph.D, FCIB, The President/Chairman of Council will be the Chief Host supported by Mr. Akin Morakinyo, Registrar/CE.
