Olam’s Rice Farm creates awareness against child Labour donates equipments, others to 17 schools

It is celebrated annually on June 12 and it is geared towards ending the exposure of children towards malicious practices such as working in hazardous environments; child slavery; drug trafficking; prostitution and involvement in armed conflicts.

The Day of the African Child is a day dedicated to raising awareness for the need for continuous improvement in the quality of education provided to African children. The celebration is an initiative of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) which happens on the 16th of June every year.
