NACCIMA Charges Women On Business Development

National President, Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Ide John Udeagbala has tasked the women wing of the chambers on the need for them to be on top of the game in business development.

He disclosed this at the induction of national executives and state coordinators of NACCIMA Business Women Organization (NAWORG), the women wing of the chambers.

Udeagbala appreciated women members for their unfailing commitment towards the growth of NACCIMA, promised to support the full development of NAWORG.

Declaring open the event at LCCI Lagos, the National Chairperson of NAWORG, Hajia Aisha Abubakar solicited support for the group, saying the women were able and capable of accomplishing leadership and business development.

The guest speaker, Mrs Nneka Okekearu in her presentation noted that emphasised that NAWORG members must be intelligent emotionally, communicate effectively and have foresight for a successful business.

One of the state coordinators inducted, Dr.(Mrs.) Adefunmilola Williams-Daudu, who is the coordinator of, Ondo State chapter of NAWORG, explained that the organization focused on facilitating trade among women in the state, the country, ECOWAS sub-region and across the world.

She stated that part of NAWORG’s roles included sensitization and educating women in business at the grassroots to participate in commerce and governance. Dr.(Mrs.) Williams-Daudu described the induction as an impetus for the national executives and state coordinators to hit the ground running.
