COVID-19: Chinese national on Ethiopian flight under observation in Lagos
A Chinese national enroute Addis Ababa-Lagos via Ethiopian airline was Monday evening quarantined on arrival at the Murtala Mohammed international airport, Lagos after check by Port health officials.
According to the investigation, the Chinese citizen whose name was given as Si Wenqhuan was reported to be coughing on the flight and twice in the arrival hall of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
He was immediately attended to by Port health staff and separated from other passengers, while officers of the Lagos state Center for Disease Control where awaited to carry out further test on the Chinese national.
The Regional Manager, MMIA, Mrs. Victoria Shinaba who confirmed the arrival of the Chinese, said they were still expecting the results from the Lagos State Center for Disease Control.
