As part of Lekki Freeport Terminal quest to sustain peaceful co-existence with the host communities prior to the go live of LFT’s container operations, LFT’s through the GM/ Head of Government Relations & Security met with HRM OBA Olumuyiwa Ogunbekun ( The Oni Lekki of Lekki Land) and his Baale’s.
The bilateral meeting discussed on LFT’s CSR strategy with the community Leaders and felicitated with his Royal highness and his Baale’s in the spirit of the festive season.
In his response, HRM OBA Olumuyiwa on behalf of his Baale’s and the community at Large pledged to give support to Lekki Freeport Terminal’s business continuity plan.
Lekki Freeport Terminal is a business entity in the CMA- CGM Group.
LFT is currently the only container terminal operator with a 45- year sub-concession agreement from Lekki Port, situated in Lagos Free Zone.
