2023 Elections: APC will come out victorious because we believe in Asiwaju Agenda- Ajele Abayomi

The chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garage Management, (LSPGM), Amuwo Odofin branch, Lagos, Ajele Abayomi, on Saturday, said that the Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be victorious in the 2023 elections.

Abayomi, who cast his vote at PU 051 said that the voting environment has been peaceful and would remain peaceful because everyone is happy with the situation on the ground.

The LSPGM branch boss, who addressed the media at the Mile 2 estate polling unit in Amuwo Odofin local government area of Lagos State, said: ” As you can see everything and everywhere is peaceful and everybody is happy with the outcome of the election results of this polling unit because the election is free and fair and everything went smoothly without any disagreements or arguments.

“In mile 2 estate here, we are all family because we believe there is life after election, so we are all brothers”, he added.

Responding to media enquiry on what makes this year’s election different from the ones in the past, the LSPGM chairman explained that the difference is the BVAS, which is one of the reasons the election is credible and peaceful.

He said the process from accreditation to voting in the ward was peaceful.

“Everything is going on smoothly except that we have some issues with the BVAS in polling unit 052 which was fixed,” Abayomi said.

Asides from that, the INEC staff here performed well and excellently and our members at the LSPGM voted with ease.

Also known as Ikomodina, the branch chairman said that “Why you see a lot of youths here is because of the belief they have in our presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu because he has the experience to deliver and he has done it before during his tenure as the governor of Lagos state.”

Meanwhile, we reliably gathered that some Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials slept over in Amuwo Odofin and were at the polling unit as early as 7:00 am.

To this end, by 8:15 am, Ward A2 residents commenced voting inside Amuwo Odofin nursery and primary school, which was the venue for four polling units, 023, 024, 051 and 052.
