Bode George Makes U-Turn, Says “I’m ready To Work With Tinubu

The former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olabode George who said he would leave the country if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should win the presidential election has made a u-turn.

He said he’s ready to work with the president elect.

Tinubu and George have had a strained relationship.

George said this after some elders of Lagos State and some leaders of All Progressives Congress visited him to end the age-long imbroglio between him and Tinubu.

The elders appealed for his support and collaboration with president elect as he assumes office on May 29.

Those present at the meeting were leader of the Governance Advisory Council, GAC, the apex leadership of the party in Lagos State, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulie, former Deputy Governors of Lagos State, Senator Kofoworola Bucknor-Akerele and Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former acting Secretary of the PDP, Chief Remi Akitoye; former Minister of Communications,Major General Tajudeen Olarenwaju (retd); Chief Gbadebo Dallas and Mrs Onikepo Oshodi.
