Just In: President Approves Appointment of New FRSC Boss

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of ACM Shehu Mohammed as the new Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
The appointment, effective from May 20th, 2024, was conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume.
Shehu Mohammed succeeds Dauda Ali Biu as the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, following the provisions of Section 7(1) of the Federal Road Safety Commission Act, 2007.
This appointment marks a new chapter in the leadership of the FRSC, with expectations high for continued commitment to road safety and effective traffic management under Mohammed’s stewardship.
