Troops Raid ISWAP Camp, Neutralize 4 Terrorists

Nigerian Army troops from the 21 Armored Brigade, under Operation Hadin Kai, have successfully raided an Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) hideout in Dalari, Borno State, killing four terrorists and seizing a cache of weapons and ammunition.

According to intelligence sources, the operation was carried out in the early hours of March 15, 2025, by soldiers from the 151 Task Force Battalion, in coordination with the Civilian Joint Task Force and Hybrid forces.

Under Operation Desert Sanity 4, troops engaged the insurgents in a gun battle at approximately 7:10 a.m., neutralizing four fighters while several others fled with injuries.

During the operation, security forces recovered a range of weapons, including one RPG tube, one AK-47 rifle, one Dane gun, two RPG bomb chargers, three RPG bombs, and 504 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition.

No casualties were reported among the troops.
