NASRE Hails IBD Dende’s Philanthropy, Business Leadership on Birthday
The Nigerian Association of Social and Resourceful Editors (NASRE) has celebrated renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun, popularly known as IBD Dende, describing him as “a dependable ally of the media and a pillar of humanitarian support” as he marks his birthday.
In a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Adeyemi Obadimu, the association commended the IBD Impex boss for his sustained commitment to journalism, youth empowerment and community development across the country.
Egungbohun, Chairman of IBD Impex Ltd, was praised for combining corporate excellence with far-reaching philanthropy.
NASRE noted that beyond building a reputable business brand anchored on integrity, he has consistently extended financial and moral support to journalists, particularly those facing health challenges.
The association said his timely interventions have provided relief and restored hope to media professionals in critical moments, reinforcing his reputation as a compassionate leader with deep commitment to humanity.
“Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun is not only a successful businessman but also a bridge-builder, community developer and steadfast friend of the media. His generosity cuts across sectors, from supporting the less privileged to empowering young people and advancing social development initiatives,” the statement read.
