SAHCO strengthens governance as ICSAN seeks deeper partnership
Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc (SAHCO) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening corporate governance and professional standards as the aviation ground handling company deepens collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
The commitment was made during a courtesy visit by an ICSAN delegation led by its President/Chairman of the Governing Council, Mrs Uto Ukpanah, FCIS, to SAHCO’s management in Lagos.
The delegation was received by SAHCO’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Adenike Aboderin, alongside members of the company’s management team.
The engagement focused on strengthening corporate governance, corporate secretarial practices and professional standards within Nigeria’s aviation and logistics industry.
SAHCO said the discussions provided an opportunity to explore ways of promoting institutional excellence, accountability and sustainable growth while maintaining a strong professional relationship with ICSAN.
The company said it welcomed the engagement and remained committed to maintaining an amicable and mutually beneficial relationship with the professional body.
The development underscores the growing importance of corporate governance in Nigeria’s aviation and logistics sector, where companies are increasingly required to combine operational efficiency with stronger accountability, transparency and responsible business practices.
SAHCO said its governance focus complements its broader commitment to operational excellence and innovation as an aviation ground handling company.
The company reiterated that stronger governance and professional standards would remain central to its efforts to build a sustainable and accountable business.
