UN POLAC Foundation Sues for Peace Calls on Nigerians to be Patience and give Federal Govt time to right the wrongs
United Nations POLAC Foundation in Nigeria has appealed to the organisers of the nationwide protest scheduled to hold on 1st August 2024,to give federal government time to right the wrongs of the past administration.
In a statement by the
Country President United Nations POLAC,Prof. Funmilayo Mercy Adesanya urged
the organisers to simmer down on their anger and give dialogue a chance, adding that from the recent developments on the policy of the federal government towards reviewing many policies and introducing new measures aimed at improving Nigeria economy for good.

UN-POLAC Foundation expressed optimism that an elder statesman in the calibre of President Asiwaju Bola.Ahmed Tinubu , who has struggled in the past to restore democracy to Nigeria and has by God’s divine destiny become the elected president of the country would by divine wisdom provide the citizens a productive and impactful leadership which would quickly enhance the standard quality of lives of the people.
“We believe that the Federal government will definitely deliver the dividend of democracy to Nigerians.”
Prof Adesanya Implored all concerned to tread softly and with caution to avoid devastating crisis
“Organisers should not unleash anger on the present government rather they should engage the government in dialogue”
The statement also calls on the Federal government to look into the hardship occasioned by the subsidy removal and plight of the suffering masses in the Country and avoid completely any form of Protest in our Nation.
“Nigerians should take a clue from neighbouring countries like Libya and Sudan where a simple protest snowballed into a civil war
