Mauron Musy targets Nigeria, West Africa market through expansion drive

Mauron Musy has announced a fast-growing expansion drive in Nigeria and West Africa market.

The firm made this disclosure at the unveiling its range of Swiss-made automatic luxury watches operation in Lagos during the week.

While speaking with the newsmen, the Managing Partner Etienne Thabiso Rouge, said the watches are 100 per cent Swiss-made, lightweight and 5 years guarantee.

The company, which was founded and established in 2013 in Switzerland by a small independent family-owned brand takes its name from Eric Mauron and his son in-law Christopher musy.

“The watches are waterproof, means it can go underwater, and its a watch you can wear every day in all weather without any fear of damage”, Etienne explained.

In his remarks, the co-founder, Christopher Mucy, added that every watch comes with 2 bracelets. There are gold, titanian, black titans among others. The gold watch is very unique on its own as its 80gram gold in a watch.

Mucy said, part of the reason they choose Nigeria is Nigerian are sophisticated buyer, they understand what they buy.

“We have sold over 4000 watches in the past 3 years; we also have the plan to set an experience centre in Nigeria soon”, he said.

Having taken the decision to make watches for their family and friends for Christmas, they develop the patented waterproofing system after 3 years.

The Swiss crafted watches are developed, produced and assembled in Switzerland.

The company started the production in 2013 and launched it in 2016; tend to rapidly expand its business in the Nigeria market and by extension the west Africa.
