He also extended his gratitude to the facilitator of Eagle’s Wing Couture and the media guru, Yinka Paramole who was in charge of the promotion, and his amazing wives for their unflinching support at all times.

Alhaji Korodo recalled how Imam of Ofa, Sheik Muhyideen once implored him to embark on empowering people, which he agreed to do without hesitation.

According to him, “It is my calling to make people around me happy, I am not wealthy but I am a cheerful giver. I was not born with a silver spoon, I lost my father at a tender age, I had to struggle and passed through all odds to rise to this position, I started as a motor boy.

“The Foundation has once held an empowerment program in Meiran where tools like pepper grinding machines, hairdressing, and barbing tools, refrigerator, etc were gifted to participants.”

Speaking further, he said, “In my community in Shomolu where my office is, my resident in Adiyan, I have made an impact, now in Meiran today, I feel liberated to have done this for the community. We shall continue to put smiles on the face of people.”

Quoting a hadith, he said, “You can never be called a true believer, until you want for your neighbours what you want for yourself “, adding it is pertinent to ask what good has done for others and not for yourself alone.

He, however, implored the beneficiaries not to take the skill for fun, while stressing the need to endeavor to develop further.

Using himself as a case study, he said that, “from being a motor boy, I have passed through different phases to build myself; it is over 30 years I have been making an impact in the life of people in my community.”

Comrade Korodo, therefore, reinstated the need for business registration as part of the effort of the beneficiaries in making their business strive

“For those who are into food and drug, it must be NAFDAC registered, and packaging is important for all business.

Also speaking at the event, the Coordinator, Eagle’s Wing Couture, Yetunde Adeniran said, “I appreciate God in the life of the founder, he is a giver, a father of all, thank you for allowing us to train the beneficiaries.”

She emphasized that training people is what her institution does without stress, however, implored the students to benefit from the training by not taking it for granted, rather make use of the vocation learned.

Mrs. Adeniran, who praised the catering students for always bringing their practicals to the class each training day and the Tie and Dye students who always flaunt their t-shirts.

“In this life, there is always a beginning and end in all journey. My being here today was because I have been hardworking, where Alhaji met me was different from what I do here, I work as a POS agent; hence I work and train. There is nothing like I am the best, each person is gifted sometimes those you think are nobody has the right connection. It is important to interact, have an open mindset”, the Coordinator charged the graduands.
