CSR: IWA Doles Out Scholarships To Albas School Pupils in Abeokuta

MiAs part of his continued efforts to bring succour to the people of his constituency and beyond through his various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele (IWA) has once again increased the tempo in eradicating poverty and community development.

The self-styled, philanthropist, astute politician, grassroots mobilizer and educationist, has given out scholarships to Albas Nursery and Primary School Pupils in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The philanthropist, who is jostling for the House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, representing Abeokuta South Constituency II is not leaving any stone unturned in showcasing that every child deserves a good education.

IWA who was the Chairman of the school’s annual end-of-the-year season party for 2022, yesterday surprised all the pupils going from KJ 2 To Primary One and Primary 6 to JSS1 with scholarships till they finished their SS3 and Primary 6 for the KJ 2 and assured them immediate school fee payment.

Some of the beneficiaries of the scholarship include; Aloa Oyindamola, Popoola salami, Okwore Godwin, and Olubiyi Precious, among many other pupils.

Speaking at the event, which took place at Ago-Egun Community Hall, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, IWA advised the pupils to be more focused on their studies, he said they can become great people in life if they pay attention to their education, he added that education is the best legacy.

The proprietor of the school, Mr salami Aliu Adebayo cannot hold his tears of joy as he shower Encomium on IWA, “this really surprised us at Alba Nursery and Primary School, and God will continue to enrich your pocket.

 “I know IWA as a philanthropist that does give out scholarships but didn’t know he will do it yesterday in my school as well if this young and energetic man can represent us at Abeokuta South Constituency II. I believe we will all enjoy his good representation”, Salami added.
