The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Al-Hatyq Travel and Tours Limited, Dr Mutiu Badmus, has called for divine intervention over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity, offering special prayers for the safe return of kidnapped children and lasting peace across the country as Muslim pilgrims conclude the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Speaking after the completion of major Hajj rites, Dr Badmus said the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage presents a critical moment for Nigerians to seek Allah’s mercy and intervention over the nation’s growing security and socio-economic challenges.

He expressed deep concern over the increasing cases of abductions and the continued captivity of children and other victims in different parts of the country, describing the situation as a painful national tragedy that has left many families living in fear and uncertainty.

According to him, prayers were offered in the holy land for the protection of innocent citizens, the safe return of abducted children, and the restoration of peace and stability across Nigeria.

“At this important moment when pilgrims are concluding their religious obligations and preparing to return home, we pray that Almighty Allah brings all kidnapped children back safely to their families. We also pray for peace, security, unity and progress in Nigeria,” he said.

The Al-Hatyq Travels boss noted that the country’s development aspirations can only be realised in an atmosphere of peace, safety, and social stability, stressing that insecurity continues to undermine economic activities, education, and community wellbeing in many parts of the country.

He added that beyond prayers, there is a need for collective responsibility and sustained efforts by government, communities, and stakeholders to address the root causes of insecurity and strengthen national cohesion.

Dr Badmus also prayed for the acceptance of the Hajj pilgrimage of all Muslim faithful, asking Allah to grant pilgrims safe journeys back to Nigeria and other destinations while preserving the spiritual blessings derived from the exercise.
As pilgrims begin their return from the holy land, he expressed optimism that the prayers offered during Hajj would contribute to a brighter future for Nigeria and promote greater harmony among citizens.

Al-Hatyq Travel and Tours Limited is one of Nigeria’s leading Hajj and Umrah operators, providing pilgrimage logistics, travel coordination, and flexible payment arrangements for intending Muslim pilgrims across the country.
